Meeting Old Friends At Enroute Distillery

Meeting Old Friends At Enroute Distillery

Fairfax boy Romy I. goes for the chilled beer.  He enjoys drinking his beer ice-cold and straight from the bottle. No mugs, no glasses.  And into his first bottle, he begins opening up, telling interesting stories that never fail to regale his friends. Just like last Saturday, when he hooked up with his classmates at Enroute Distillery  along Tomas Morato Avenue in Quezon City.

Enroute Distillery is a sports bar that is, perhaps, the most popular watering hole on that stretch of Morato. It serves popular brands of beer, produced locally or in other parts of the world.  And they serve your beer below zero degrees, if you like it that way. To go with the beer, Enroute offers the best Fish n Chips, Buffalo Wings & Salpicao.

At Enroute, you can while away the time by playing Beer Pong with your friends.  You shoot pingpong balls at cups filled with beer.  Everytime you score, the opposing team drinks that cup of beer. Like basketball, the team that scores more points wins the game. At Enroute, there is a private room where you can engage in private conversations with acquaintances or you can sing the night away.

Romy was in his element that night.  He was gesturing as Ed Dela Rosa, Francis P, Greg C, and Ted G were listening intently. He was complaining of pain somewhere near the shoulder, of how he had to pull the lawn mower out of the garage and how he ran it several times over his lawn. No signs yet of Alzheimers, Romy paused and gulped down his nth ice cold beer for the night. By this time, Enroute Distillery was filled to the rafters, with several gorgeous girls waiting to be seated.

                                                                                                                                  - Konted
